If Mumbai isn’t the craziest city on Earth I don’t know what is. I love it though, due to the spirit and warmth of the people. Mumbai is 20+ million people crammed into a landscape of highrises, ocean beaches, bridges, slums, bays, stadiums, hills, glamorous shopping malls, jewelry dealers, and garbage dumps. It would take a lifetime to really know and understand Mumbai. India’s financial capital and slum capital, nowhere in India is income inequality more apparent. There are individuals in Mumbai with more wealth than ten million of their fellow Indians. Barefoot girls panhandle at busy intersections amid Ferraris and Rolls-Royces.
